Getting involved in HSDC is a simple and exciting journey that brings students, teachers, and schools together.
Step 1: Register Your School
Schools can express their interest by contacting the HSDC team and completing the official registration process. Each school appoints a Team Manager and a Student Leader to coordinate participation.
Step 2: Build Your Team
Form a team of 4 to 30 students from Years 7–12 who are passionate about dance and ready to collaborate. This is an opportunity to bring together students with diverse skills and interests.
Step 3: Prepare Your Performance
Teams choreograph a 3–5 minute routine based on the Bollywood freestyle theme. Students work together to:
- Create choreography
- Select and edit music
- Plan costumes and formations
- Rehearse regularly as a team
Support is available from the HSDC team, including workshops and guidance if needed.
Step 4: Get Event-Ready
Submit your music, complete required forms, and prepare for the big day. Schools are also encouraged to engage their community and build excitement leading up to the event.
Step 5: Perform on Stage
On the event day, teams take the stage to showcase their performance in front of judges and a live audience—an experience that is both thrilling and rewarding.
